Khosla Ka Ghosla completes 18 years! ‘Kishan Khurana’ Boman Irani says, “It’s humbling when a character you played becomes part of cult classic”

It’s been 18 years since the iconic Khosla Ka Ghosla graced the big screens, and one of the key elements that continues to resonate with audiences is Boman Irani’s unforgettable portrayal of the cunning and shrewd businessman, Kishan Khurana. The film, a lighthearted and sharp take on land scams and middle-class struggles, became an instant classic, with Irani’s role as Khurana playing a pivotal part in its enduring success.

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Khosla Ka Ghosla was written by Jaideep Sahni. The comedy-drama is centred on Kamal Kishore Khosla (Anupam Kher), a middle-class Delhiite and his family’s attempt to reclaim their land which has been seized by a builder, Khurana (Boman Irani). The 2006 film stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Tara Sharma in pivotal roles.
